User Interface and User Experience Case Study • Mobile Application Redesign • Spring 2020

Overview

I’m doing this project to show UX redesigning process. This app gives student and instructor access to their online classroom, student portal, grades, shuttle service and general Academy announcements.In this app student and instructor can view their personal account and portfolio, update their portfolio, getting school shuttle information such as date and time also they can get route of shuttle.

Access to shuttle is confusing for students to use.
Add a shortcut for shuttle on the main page.
Unnecessary options like registration is on the app.
The app is difficult to understand in uploading assignment part, which is stressful for students,
and it is better to show all notifications and changes.
The face of the app is boring to some users view, specially the colors.
Users like separation and distinction between jobs.
AAU App is a mobile web field of the app rather than a native IOS app.
Rethink the app from a student point of view.
Shuttle is one of the more important jobs on the app, also homework.
Color pallet of the app must resonate the AAU, color wise, and be simple and user friendly.
